I so appreciate your enthusiasm and belief in me in this endeavor to run for school board. I am not a politician, not connected to the "right" folks, and yet still have felt the tides turning for a more accountable and transparent school board. Together, we will help our district best serve our families, address the challenges of the future, focus on off-screen learning, and ensure that your tax dollars are being spent on student success.

School board races across the Bay Area and country are seeing the impact of outside money. School board races are typically small, low-turnout elections which makes them easy to influence with thousands of dollars from PACs or wealthy individuals. The only way to ensure accountability of a school board is to know that the elected candidate is financed primarily by members of the community they are meant to serve.
Did you know?
School board elections here don’t have strict campaign finance regulations or term limits. In a San Jose City Council race, you’d be limited to contributions of $800 from any individual source and allowed no more than two four-year terms. Constituents in school board races are not protected in the same way. My opponent’s messaging will be paid for by those meddling in many other races and connected to outside interests like PACs, CEOs, and political networks. My campaign is supported by you and the other parents, families, and neighbors who live in our communities.
